@jp182: @Morgan King: Exactly. I try to only buy CDs, and the ones I buy are superb. But the thing about the bands I listen to is they're not "famous" in the way that Joe Sixpack thinks of it. My friends have never heard most of the music I listen to.

@ddhboy: nailed it on the head. I go to gigs in hollywood about every two months with my friend. We go to see a band, and the other bands that play are the ones that blow me away. that's how i discover bands: they play in the same show as a band i like and impress the heck out of me.

@Robotronic: exactly. none of my friends have heard the majority of the stuff i listen to. i used to have little faith in the world in terms of music, similar to most of the comments on here, until my friend started taking me to underground and scene rock shows in Hollywood last year.

Funny, that's a picture of an x86 Phenom II....

i guessed it was argon! oh man. red letter day.

@Wraithfighter: not too many kids on here have any idea what that means....

@Panzer23: unless you're torrenting all the bloody time, you shouldn't be able to use up 250 gigs by adding voice traffic to your internet workload.

@Scott: winrar!!!! that is priceless.

@C-Cookie: that's impossible, unfortunately. some cdma phones have gsm capability, like my verizon blackberry 9630, but no gsm phones that i know of work with cdma.

@chodaboy19: you have to special order them, right now they're only sold in the corporate sector.

@BlackTaxi2d: ati's eyfinity tech combines all monitors so that windows sees only one, so that vlc bug wouldn't be a problem.

i see quite a few commenters wondering if there is consumer hardware that can display 4k.

@Neimo: yep. the ati 5870 eyefinity 6 can run six 2560*1600 monitors.

@ImmaLion: "Adobe's team of crack programmers has made absolutely sure that your pictures will never look 'shopped again!"

tesselation's off

the enterprise space needs windows 8 because it will support 128 bit line width. they've just ran out of ram with 64 bit: only 128 gigs. whether the consumer space wants a new os or not doesn't matter.
