same v6 ecoboost is found in RXC 500R with 700hp and a shoein for fastest ring time

i mean is it really necessary for F1? i mean the whole car is made of carbon that just shatters into a million pieces when in a accident. majority of time in irl is at 200mph where the average f1 speeds are much lower (even though just as fast)

i had a nightmare about the sebring 12h last night

yeah right ls will be using ohv for 30 more years

who says their running research octane? Pretty sure ford already has camless engine tech sitting around

i went to college there. this would only happen in mankato..

ford would of pulled that som bitch right out on the first try if it was in 4wd

why put a physically larger, taller and probably heavier engine in? assuming your referring to the race version getting the GT, if the regs for le mans is 5.5L, no point in being .3L less than the regs. FPC doesnt make the torque of a turbo. no need to rev that high anyway

Me waiting for the next race after daytona for the fords to hopefully get some redemption. Have any of you gotten to drive the road version of the GT? I’m thinking about going to the road america race this summer its only 340 miles away

0-250 in seconds? The fastest C7 or whatever corvette cant get to 190 in like 5 times that time

1 pass then its heat soaked. Why keep the stock supercharger. If you were just trying to make 1000hp you could probably do small turbos that will spool quick.

the coefficient of friction for semi tires is pretty low (.008 for dry) so it doesnt take that much force on flat ground, but that looks like a slight incline. Like pulling a train with a truck isnt that impressive.

mile above sea level maybe?

the CR.5 finished 30 laps down in its first 24 in 2000 too but thats not of my business

before the 24 even started they wanted to change the tank size because they were getting better fuel efficiency and didnt want to get slammed with a BoP reg

speaking of the 5.2 V8, all the camaros dropped out this season after the gt350r joined mid season last year ( CTSC)

corvette ran 1:43.4 qual time and a 1:44.2 best lap dring race last year, and this year during the roar the vettes were at about a 1:45 throughout all the practices

i wonder how small they could go with the 10 speed. i bet they could get away with a 2.0EB or smaller especially in the smaller trucks

you mean ram is an innovator by skipping gas development and taking the diesel scapegoat path? lets not forget wasnt diesel like $4/gal when the ecodiesel came out? why bring out a diesel with a 6 speed and get
“ok” mileage when you can drop a 10 speed/ aluminum and sweep the mpg title. lets not forget about the press

DOHC stop the presses.. wecome to the 90s?
