Take me out to the sprawl game.

Georgia Dome was built a the same time and is a goner too

The only "logistical challenge" that this new stadium solves is moving the stadium closer to its white suburban fan base and away from the scary black folks who live around the stadium that the white suburban fan base complains about at every opportunity. Moving to that area only makes commute times worse and moves

This is a bizarre move by the Braves. This new location has no access to MARTA. It's highway access is only slightly better than Turner Field. The crime rate in the proposed new stadium area is about the only positive I see in this move.

The public transport is a reason to leave? Because the public transport is much better out by Marietta? Ooookay.

Also, how did Atlanta host the Olympics in that stadium, and not have a MARTA stop near the stadium?!

Yet more evidence that if you are a local government that gives public funds to a privately held sports team, you are a bigger sucker than the rube tourists playing three card monte. Hell, even the rubes win once in a while.

I moved here a little over three years ago, and in that time Atlanta has proven itself as one of the worst sports cities in America: the Thrashers headed for Canada; the Falcons demanded (and got) a billion-dollar stadium to replace the only 20-year-old Georgia Dome; now this. The new Braves stadium is proposed for

What the fuck? If you're not from Atlanta, here is the lowdown. Turner field is barely 20 years old and still nice, but it's in an awful area surrounded by crime and public transit option sucks. Now, they're moving it to the suburbs where the white people are and there is pretty much is no public transit option. This

Nowhere near public transit in a city that has some of the worst traffic in America? That'll be a winner on weeknights. Well done, Atlanta!

Really, Atlanta Braves? I don't get this. The place is less than twenty years old.

I don't get it. I don't fucking get it.

I feel like there's a lot of things about what I said, and life in general, that you don't understand, and I don't think anything I could say here will fix that.

You forgot the arrest for three counts of felony assault that were pleaded down to misdemeanor assault.

You're right, my main point which I did a poor job of emphasizing is that this only adds to Incognito's best defense, that the relationship he and Martin had was built on a lot of bro ribbing and a pretty common(albeit fucked up) dynamic that exists between a lot of American males.

Yes but as Incognito points you, please put it in the context. Incognito has been kicked out of two schools, accused fondling a woman last year, has made a threatening voice mail, called people n*gger before (apparently Warren Sapp is black), and outside the Dolphins locker room he generally isn't well-liked but

So was it 10 or 20 seconds in that we started rooting for the shark?

Just a thought, but maybe he should leave those sharks the fuck alone? Not from a danger standpoint, but from the fact that they're wild animals that don't need some dipshit treating them like a thrill ride...

I have a crackhead friend that was pregnant for 5 months before she found out, at which point she opted to have a late-term abortion. She was 18 and definitely should not have been having that baby. It was certainly okay in that case.

At first I thought this was going to be about how he installed automatic lawn watering sprinklers that turn on at random intervals.
