And I feel like Tesla is in such a unique position. It is desirable by just about everyone. It's perhaps the first car to appeal to both petrolheads and rich environmentalists. It used to be as a environmentalist, you bought a Prius, a $20,000 car. Now there is an option for the more well off: a $100k fully electric

And people around my age (20) once we graduate from college into higher paying jobs, will probably buy a Tesla. Teslas are exotic cars to us, and after remembering the struggle of paying for gas in college and high school, we will clamour to a cheaper Tesla when it comes out.

There is not a day that goes by where I don't think of this video haha

Especially since Volvo dealerships are closing left and right these days. At least at the show people who don't live close to one can sit in it and try it out

So what's the benefit to using a 3 cylinder compared to a similar displacement 4 for fuel economy/power? It seems like with the inherent vibrations of a 3 that a 4 would be more efficient.

Yeah for sure. de Nysschen does strange things to the nomenclature, but he leads the company to making damn fine products.

Unfortunately, Cadillac isn't selling well though I mean, it's better than Lincoln, but they're spending a lot for not much return. :(

What's the tax restructuring?

Thanks for writing this Doug! I always love your articles, and I'm sorry owning the Ferrari wasn't as much fun as you thought it would be, but I really enjoyed reading all about it this year!

Who is Rod?

But aren't turbos and the associated tubing and intercoolers (if it has an intercooler, anyway) heavier than a bigger displacement engine?

I saw one of those yesterday!

Considering the XC60 is their best selling vehicle, and that 10 years later, the XC90 is still selling well, a crossover could save the brand.

Thats what I use mine for too! I don't see how they're so confusing, it caught me off guard the first time I got in, but it wasnt perplexing at all. I find that whenever I get in any other car I find my self pulling towards myself in the handle, when its just a regular plebeian handle
