The SS might be put on the Alpha platform to make a second generation. That's what I heard from two Chevy employees, but they were just speculating.

The first car I was driving was my dad's Mazda 6 Wagon with the V6 and auto, it was a great car. It handled superbly, and it did get good milage. I really miss that car, and it could carry everything!
As a 19 year old who just bought a 1993 Volvo 960 as his first car, I approve for the same reasons!
For sure! After going to a school in Rural mountainous NC, I have had my fair share of coal rolled on me going to class, and I know none of them tow!
The diesel does get better fuel economy, although I agree with what you are saying.
This is the same platform from 1999?
Right, it uses the last generations platform. No aluminum here.
Do you think that they will release one on the new F-150 in the near future? Ford doesn't sell many Expeditions (Compared to the Tahoe/Suburban) and to me it seems like this one is here to stay for quite some time.
It could compete with the Ford Transit Connect too!
I dislike pious Prius drivers as much as the next guy, but the manufacturing techniques have gotten significantly cleaner over time, and that study was proven to be false. Not justifying their actions though! But if you're just going to drive a boring car, you might as well just get a Prius.
It happened to me all the time in Boone, NC. Nothing better than walking to class and having coal rolled all over you!
Maybe this will change your mind?
But the only reason he opened the parents was so the cost of electric car construction would go down. Secondly, if anyone wants to sue Tesla, he can sue them for patent infringement because of the legal nature of opening patents.
Honestly, I would buy a big 3 truck for one main reason: reliability. Big 3 trucks are everywhere, and they have parts everywhere, so they are never prohibitably expensive to repair. Whereas Toyota makes a considerably smaller amount of trucks than the big 3, so parts are more expensive when something goes wrong.
Post-bailout Ford and GM? I agree with you that pre-bailout Big 3 cars are utter garbage, but the post bailout cars are world class. Further, Subaru was rated the most reliable car manufacturer by Consumer Reports. Which is exactly what a buyer of a Camcord reads before buying a car.
But it's not like other brands aren't just as reliable. My problem with Toyota is not that they are boring, it is that they and Honda do not innovate drivetrains anymore. Ford and GM are pushing turbo-4s, Mazda is pushing engine compression to improve efficiency, VW is selling diesels. Meanwhile, Honda is just adding…
Are they using stock brakes?
Just imagine… a $100,000 Fusion!
They just released a new generation of Expedition so I wouldn't think so.
Don't worry, it's coming. They're making a new Grand National.
