1997 called, they want their joke back.
I've never understood why GMC avoided the chopping block during the bailout, GMCs aren't fooling anyone about their Chevy roots!
Couldn't agree more. It seems like they are taking everything that differentiated them and throwing them away. No wagons (thankfully it's coming back) and the 5 cylinder engine. I want them to succeed, but they're too boring now.
Lamborghini is that you?
How reliable is the 190E? I would love to own one because it seems like the last really good, rock solid Merc. Could I pick up a good one these days for $5000?
All I could think of when you said "Most people that could drop $70k on a toy, could just as easily spend $100k" was this:
I believe the old Ford Flathead V8s used to be 2.2L. They sure loved V8s back then
I mean Brick killed a guy!
I know it's cliche, but the F40 is my favorite car in the whole world. The last of the simple super cars, minimal computers, super light, no hybrids, and no insane displacement or configuration (Veyron); in contrast to the 959 and the cars that would soon follow in its footsteps. I would absolutely adore to see one in…
My high schools school system used to do the same thing! http://www.buzzfeed.com/jonathancoby/1…
1st Gear: 10-15% Of Future XTS Sales Should Be Vsport
My favorite is the old E60 M5. Manual, naturally aspirated V10, hydraulic power steering, and much more simpler technology wise than the current 5 series, Merc, or Audi. I also think the styling has held together very nicely over time. It's truly a shame that BMW is no longer a player in the M-Wagon market in the US…
Or in the Superbird!
It might have ugly headlights, it may have FWD as standard, and it may have that godawful shield grill, but it does come with paddle shifters!
Anything with an automatic gearbox!
