The revelation of them being manipulated almost makes their series-long string of astonishing incompetence in the face of numerous opportunities to stop Savage make a bit of sense. ;D

Deeply pleasurable episode — the humor and great little weird moments scattered all over the place: this is the Adventure Time I love. Almost reminded me of the original AT short from back in the day.

Geez, get the stick out, mate. It was just a fun, filler episode. Chopper physically beating people with his stolen leg was absolutely hysterical and worth the price of admission alone.

That statement may be true, but it doesn't mean it's necessarily applicable to this situation, simply because she thinks it is. ;)

I'll finish the season off, since I've gotten this far, but I this is becoming a chore to watch. I love most of the actors, with the exception of our beloved former-barista and Savage. And that's about the only thing that's good about it, at this point.

That's Level 1 dungeon puzzle junk, son. This is Level 12. It's a trick. ;)

Immediately thought that, myself. ;) But really, I wonder if there's going to be more to that rock? Or is it simply a memento of the experience? Have to wait and see, I guess.

She's being guilted into obscuring her Barista-American background. Never be ashamed of it, gurrrl!

Yep. He's earned a bit of depression.

That's just the order they showed the scene in. Chronologically, it likely happened immediately at the start of the episode.

When ridiculous things like this happen, I just assume it's true in THAT universe, not OURS. It lets me sleep a bit better at night. ;)

Haha. :D One might be able to make the argument that this was done on purpose, by a sympathetic electrical contractor. ;)

You're WAAAAAY too forgiving of this.

And what was even the point of getting that particular bit of "CRITICAL INTEL" to Stein? Isn't it a given they'd try to help? :P

Yep. In an episode already filled with scenes that drove me nuts, having the doors pop open because the power was cut was IMMENSELY ridiculous.

Twice in five episodes they've overpowered the guy, but they leave him to regenerate instead of taking him in. Once I could see as a writing oversight. But twice? Awful.

Maybe we could just dump this TV show idea and have them do a weekly podcast together, in character. ;)

I'm not sure if they actually had the dagger, or not… but it doesn't even matter. They could, at minimum, knock Savage out and take him into custody. I've never been so goddamned irritated by a show that I really WANT to love.

WHO'S MCCLOUD?
