@MagicMT: access to the paid apps in the market, i live in a "non-first (android) world" country, so when i open the market there is no featured apps, only free apps are visible, my first week with android i was left wondering why some apps told me to search for their pro versions and they didnt show up in the results

@MagicMT: for me it's about market enabler, without root i cant get access to paid apps on the market at least, i would have to resort to piracy or directly contacting the devs

i have been waiting for this, the worrying side is that android apps are not the most secure of environments and sony lately have been locking down hard on their consoles... maybe a dual boot? extra secure? no side-loading apps?

@cobaltage: have you used an atom netbook? just asking... mine easily got 5 hours, and that was two iterations ago (n270)... perhaps intel has continued to improve the power consumption of their cpu

@verditsgerman: i'm by no means an apple lover but the most important difference is the pixels, itouch:320x480 vs ipad: 1024x768 (if i remember correctly) .

i remember the trailer for this game, if i remember correctly it had something to do with the BoF team? if so, please do a western release :)

@CrazySuperFellow: you may want to replace kinect with ps-eye, i'm not sure if it is as capable as the kinect in mapping full body movement, but it sure seems like it can do a good job (there's already a game in development that uses your body in a final fight-like enviroment)

@atty101: if i were you i would go with the captivate, better media playing powers, great screen but i dont know if it is better than the iphone's. i currently own a galaxy spica and seeing the specs on the captivate makes me want to upgrade.

@shiben589: normally i would have agreed with you, since i really think android is smart enough to keep things running smoothly... BUT... in the real world (at least my real world: i.e. first a htc dream and now a samsung galaxy spica, read: low ram phones) i have been learning how to keep my phone running just fine…

i had a g1, now rocking a galaxy spica... i root beceause... hell... it's just seems the obvious thing to do, i mean, why have a mini computer in my hand if it wont let me do exactly what i want :)

I also believe this is a somewhat premature analysis... personally i would like 3d on sports and games. movies? not so much but once in a while maybe, watching avatar for me was no different from watching cutscenes from a big budget japanese videogame, but with depth... when they make the shadow of the colossus movie…
