All dogs are excellent, but I am partial to bearded dogs. Obviously.

I think my husband thinks I’m overreacting. He voted for her, but he’s like, “Why bother getting upset over something you can’t control?” And he’s right, I know he is, but that doesn’t mean I can stop bursting into tears. This loss is felt harder by women. All I can console myself with is knowing that Wonder Woman

Sorry. My friends are telling me that I’m over reacting. I don’t think that there would be a nuclear war or a fascist state, just that emptying Roe vs Wade and Obamacare is a very real possibility.

Yesterday my mom held my hands and earnestly said “You will live to see a woman President, honey, I know you will.”

Bill looked so much like he wanted to cry during her concession speech. I was irritated that the camera kept Bill in the frame during her moment, but then seeing Bill hold that pain helped me.

I was thinking that today. Someone was like “she was probably born this year!” and I was like okay.....so I’ll be what....90? JFC.

The country made the right choice. The electoral college just kind of fucked us on this one...again.

FUCK.

I’m reminded again of the gapping chasm between what could have been and what will be. I’m 35, will there be a female president in my lifetime???

I want to run in to Hillary and just cry in her arms.

It seems I can’t stop. I cried on the phone with my grandma this morning, who told me not to give up, that our time will come. She remembers the coathangers.

Last night, I was walking home while sobbing from my friends’ election party-turned-funeral-for-America, and this guy was walking in the opposite direction, crying, and we just stopped and talked for a minute and then hugged (not in a creepy way at all).

I’ve actually had to hear that rant from an older coworker. “If they can say it, why can’t I?” Beyond all of the arguments of intent and context that were beyond this guy’s grasp, the only real answer is “Why would you want to use that word?”

It’s old news for HGTV but I think some people felt like Chip and whats-her-name were different.

Rehab addict is the show to watch on HGTV.

Your comment reminded me that, while in high school, I wore a “VOTE REPUBLICAN: IT’S EASIER THAN THINKING” t-shirt as a panel guest at our ultra-conservative Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. I grew up in a small town. My parents got phone calls for a week.

A 15 minute drive? And he wouldn’t do it? For his pregnant wife? Jesus.

Ditto. Got sucked into it thanks to Ron Paul. Thankfully it only lasted a couple years. Now I view Libertarianism a lot like Communism. Good in theory, terrible in the real world.

Stassa was the Vice President ...
