Whoooo boy, I feel you there. I actually only went there by myself for the first time and got a membership in the last couple of months. In short, I’m pretty sure I’m only ever going to buy a TV and toilet paper there.

As long as we are talking about perfumes, that Lady Stetson perfume is one that my 4th grade best friend’s mom wore all the time. It smelled so good. Her mom was the absolute coolest person I had met up to that point, other than my cool girl cousins, of course.

Yerp, I kept that damn bottle for decades after its smell had long since ruined.

DITTO

OMG, I LOVED ELECTRIC YOUTH when I was a teen!!! (ETA, may have been younger...)I had a precious bottle once and almost immediately lost it. I was devastated. It smelled so fucking good. If it is still made somewhere, give it to me NOW!

Awww, “righcht”.... exactly how some of my Southern family speak.

When I was 5, we moved from a house with a fireplace to a house without one. I was so worried about how Santa would get into the house that I made sure my parents put a key in the mailbox for him.

Yep, someone told me this when I was a TEENAGER and I believed them for a half-day or so...

I remember something like this being said, too! I think my dad later told me that it was annoying, though...

Thank you for this link. I regret, though, that I saw something gruesome as I watched. This is horrible.

Glad to hear you are on the recovery side.

OMG, I lived in Atlanta before moving to Cali! I had the same reaction to L.A. when I had to work there off and on for a while.

Hey, does your name mean you moved from Alabama to Cali! Fellow former Alabamian here! I hope you live it here! It is so chill and the people are mostly great, too. Bet you a dollar you are hiking on the regular within 6 months. That’s one of the best things about this state.

I’m not running, but I’m walking tomorrow, and it’s a 5k, so not as awesome. I hope you and your oldest have a ton of fun!

Ditto here, but in the Sacto area. Hello, Cali neighbor! I hope you recuperate quickly. If you have to do chemo, etc., I suggest taking Floressence every day for a while. My mom did it when she had breast cancer and it helped her keep her hair and feel better faster.

I had to use Airbnb a LOT last year when I had to work in L.A., and I am a single woman. I tried to rent from people that were either a couple or a woman. The one time I thought I was renting from a woman and it turned out to be a couple, I was a little freaked out because she didn’t explain that in the host

And water, and an electricity source...

Sometimes when I think back to what I was like as a little 6 or 7 year old, I scare myself. I really don’t remember at all what I actually thought sex was at that age. After reading through some of the comments, though, I *think* I also thought part of sex was a man peeing inside. I DO, remember, however, being in

Yeah, believe me, it is sooo disappointing to know that DD is blah now. If you thought the donuts were too sweet, don’t ever bother to try Krispy Kremes. They will make you gag — they are such a giant sugar bomb! I think the only reason I could tolerate them on occasion is because I was already eating “strong” sweets

I watched this and thought of it as I was reading this article. Prison is a horrible place all around that does not seek to rehabilitate but to warehouse criminals.
