Actually the UK and Australia do not have an official language either.

I wonder how many times she told her kid, “If you aren’t bleeding and your bones aren’t sticking out, stop crying.” I wonder how much bullying he experiences at home.

The original Shameless for me. Sigh...

I’ll take one of each, thank you.

I’m with you. And why can’t we give him the benefit of the doubt that he now realizes the error of this ways? Maybe all the judgmental commenters are perfect, but I admit that I’m not.

Hopefully noted feminist/successful businessperson/woman of principle Farrah Abraham will return, along with Liz Jones and Katie Price. I can already envision the edifying conversations. (Though I confess to having a soft spot for Katie Price.)

The first part is pretty sappy (though I loved it). The second part (I think it’s technically titled “Good Wives,” is excellent. One of the themes is Jo choosing between “settling” for marriage to her best friend or following her dream of being a writer while dealing with the possibility of a life of loneliness,

Another great film about growing up lower-middle-class is Slums of Beverly Hills. I also loved that it’s the first time I ever saw a fictional character bleach her mustache.

But who would want to look at Steve Bannon if she didn’t have to? ;-)

He’s still 1.5-legged in the TV series, and apparently he still smokes, drinks, and eats too. I hope this comes to the States soon because I love the books and Tom Burke (and I’m glad they opted not to have him wear a pubes-like wig).
