Given ever increasing rates of skin cancer, I’d say National Sunscreen Day is pretty damn important. I think you could have chosen a better example.

It’s cute that you still think there will actually be debates.
My daughter had lice several times, here and while we lived abroad, and I got them once from her. The comb method worked in conjunction with sleeping with conditioner on our head—it took a few times, but I was really wary of the pesticide shampoos, and I figured since lice don’t spread disease, what was the big deal.…
I was just going to write the same thing. Yes, a lot of what she does seems precalculated/a bit fake, but so what? Isn’t that the case with most celebs? It shows she cares enough about her fan base to want to show herself in a good light to them, in a way. And she writes her own songs, does charity work, and gives a…
Did she ever? (C’mon, that was too easy!)
How stupid do you have to be to risk getting picked up for something as lame as skipping a fare when you’re holding? Yeah, yeah, probably has a sense of invincibility heightened by massive amounts of blow, but still—such a stupid mistake.
No Tastykake from the nearest Wawa? It’s like you weren’t in Philly at all...
I grew up in Philly and refuse to go back in the summer (though my mom was inconsiderate enough to die in July, so I had to return for her funeral). But the worst was the summer there was a garbage strike. Hell no longer scares me.
Nice article. Another thing to look into if you’re a prospective homeschooler is homeschooling co-ops, particularly if parents work full-time or the child simply will not learn from the parent. My daughter is involved in a homeschooling co-op, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it saved our family’s sanity.
Now that I pretty much skip all of Vanity Fair’s cover stories I enjoy the magazine so much more.
Is “Law Bog” a typo? If so, it’s the best Freudian slip of the fingers ever.
Wishbone was great until he opened his mouth—completely wrong voice actor. But I will watch Downward Dog (even if I have to deny doing so to my family and friends).
Seems she wants to be the next Katie Hopkins/Samantha Brick/Liz Jones. Because that’s such a worthy goal...
He’s amazingly charismatic, on the screen, (especially) onstage, and in my very limited experience, offstage. I spoke with him twice after seeing him on the West End, and he was amazingly gracious to each and every fan. When I complimented him on his Eastern Seaboard accent in one play, mentioning that that’s where I…
I’ve been a working woman without kids, and a working woman with a kid. And I swear, I’ve never seen that sort of parents-mocking-nonparents behavior anywhere I’ve worked, nor have I seen nonparents expected to cover for parents. I hear about it, so maybe I’ve just been lucky. Which is odd, considering that I’ve…
So what’s your stance on parental leave for parents who adopt? Just curious—no judgment.
Yes, in fact Mulan alluded to it pretty clearly last night, when encouraging Ruby to go for it with Dorothy. (I just outed myself as a Once Upon a Time fan, but I watch it only for Robert Carlyle, I swear!)
Or “needless to say”; if it’s needless to say, why say it?
Is taking photos of each other “taking a dump” a “regular guy” thing? Guess I (thankfully) haven’t known any regular guys...
Kirkland are great—we joined Costco just so we could buy Kirkland nappies and baby wipes (and stayed for the rotisserie chicken!)
