Stardock owns the trademark. That’s on file. If their game contains work that is entirely original, they own the copyright. The series’ creators cannot copyright gameplay or design.

I’d love to see a game where you can play an investigative journalist actually doing things a journalist would do! I’d imagine it would be a cross between Phoenix Wright, the old point-&-click adventures, and Her Story.
