I don’t think war ever is ‘good’, as it involves state-directed killing. Sometimes it’s a defensive war, but even so the vast majority of those killed are people who don’t ‘deserve’ it.

It very well could be they are nationalists or otherwise identify with national socialism. You find it in the oddest of parties. Some years back there was a Japanese Nazi party, and I believe there still is Taiwanese one as well.
