Good band. It’s weird the guitarist, Rikk Agnew, was in the death rock/goth band Christian Death; that’s (sometimes) a good band too.

I know it’s not Indy 500, but one of the most terrible crashes in racing history that I’ve ever read about was the 1955 Le Mans disaster. That was beyond horrific. :\

Sweet. I have a hazmat suit, high charisma, & outfits to pump that up (summer shorts, fashion glasses, & newsboy cap, plus legendarys with +1). Unfortunately, I am level 40 on Survival Mode & have died TWICE trying to get there.

I loved that encounter, as it occurred in the middle of a massive firefight between robots & gunners. He’s trying to scam me while lasers are literally flying by his head & illuminated by mushroom clouds. FUCKING. EPIC.

... and the leaker decided to put it on Nexus? Really? :\

I’m hoping that the release of GECK results in some great mods like this. :)

““Foreign governments generally have immunity from civil suit in U.S. courts” under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act of 1976 (FSIA), but Congress added a waiver in 1996 allowing U.S. terrorism victims to sue, if the offending government has been designated a ‘state sponsor of terrorism,’ “ which applies to Iran.”

That’s actually a great idea for a mod. That and a quest where you have to track down your own synth. Or hell, maybe your nemesis could be your synth version.

I think that depends on the time frame. I wouldn’t trust BT-7s & T-26s to do too well against the Germans in ‘41.

Hell, 60% of the Waffen-SS at the end of the war wasn’t even German. The XV SS Cossack Calvary Corps, anyone? :o

I’m pretty sure those evil Nazis are hiding their faces because they’re laughing! /s

I don’t know. That sounds about right to me. There’s no guarantee a Panther will stand up to a decent hit by an 85mm shell, and the IS-2 had a 122mm that had good penetration characteristics against a Tiger. Hell, even the Sherman Firefly could stand up to the Panzer VI.

Now the King Tiger is a different beast all

I’m not sure if they’re your style of game, but you might want to check out War in the East and Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa. War in the East is notable because it’s deceptively simple but incredibly complex (modelling the entire Eastern Front down to the individual tank, plane, gun, etc.).

Decisive Campaigns is

It’s common knowledge that flying eyeballs were a problem among U-Boat crewmen. Kudos to Ubisoft for paying attention to historical accuracy!

Ugh. I didn’t even know about Silent Hunter Online. I’m assuming it wasn’t well-received?

Here’s hoping another company comes up with a worthy successor!

I loved SH4 when I modded the hell out of it. Looked great, sounded great. Had a shit ton of music for the radio. Some of my favorite gaming moments occurred in that game.

1. Was chasing a Japanese convoy in almost pitch black conditions. Kept approaching a destroyer, but the ship wasn’t reacting. I then wondered how

Any chance we’ll ever get a Silent Hunter 6?

Are we sure? It seems odd that they are the exact same age.

Is there any way that Jon Snow & Dany are twins? They are the same age.
