It’s amazing how the leaders of MAGA know how insanely stupid their base is, and how shamelessly they pander to and intentionally foster that ignorance.

We already do that in my town - you can tell when the roads have been salted, you can see where the truck sprayed 10 or so parallel lines. Might not be “pickle” brine, but its some sort of brine; when it dries it looks like regular road salt. It doesn’t all get blown to the curb like rock salt and apparently works…

That’s great news, taking the train up the Bay Area from San Jose or anywhere on the peninsula up to San Francisco is a great day trip. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Bay Area and looking to save some money.

Trump is envisaging a world where, to bypass the tariffs, automakers bring jobs and manufacturing flooding back to American soil. Maybe they will, but the millions of dollars that have been invested in Mexican and Canadian manufacturing over recent years suggest that maybe they won’t.
