I’m not sure that I’ve ever cheered or clapped in a movie theater. There’s nobody to hear you clapping, why would you clap?

People being happy to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil on the big screen is not exactly Kwisatz Haderach level prescience.

Sure, but does a RAV4 have a dent on one corner of the back bumper?!

Currently rewatching The Americans and was just thinking I needed more Keri in my life, seems at least worth a look

I can’t wait for the twist where she’s revealed to be an undercover Russian spy!

This idea that the left knows there’s only one right way to live, it’s the way that we want to live and we’re going to force it on you.

I half-agree with you. I’ve seen the separate bike “highways” (for lack of a better word) in Minneapolis and they’re fantastic. Others as well - Charlotte, for example. So I certainly wouldn’t disagree with building separate bike infrastructure.

Well, 11 hours and 35 minutes Canadian is only 8 hours and 45 minutes American.

I’m a big fan of the series 1923. It’s amazing how many period-correct vehicles they have in the show, especially when you consider that those cars are one-hundred years old.

Now playing

Pironi had the pleasure of holding the lead through his home race in France, all the way to the Austrian Grand Prix, when Rosberg proved unstoppable.

Yeah, it was quite funny. I especially enjoyed the part about how there’d be a follow-up letter to assure her it’s really not a joke. Maybe the only thing the kid got wrong was how apologetic the Academy would be, but I’ll give them a pass since they’re young and Canadian.

And I liked that she wasn’t an asshole.  That woulda seemed expected and lazy.

I was kinda expecting that cameo at the end. The only problems I had with this season was IT WAS TOO DAMNED SHORT and no JK Simmons.

Man, he’s even charming when he talks about blowing his ass out.

The earrings had a George Michael circa 1987 vibe.

Mr. Baseball should definitely be on this list.

“HEY! Its Enrico Pallazzo!”

That exchange very slightly annoyed me because from Beard’s perspective the situation was ironic—the team’s heretofore biggest pre-Madonna prima donna warning the staff of the dangers of narcissism—whereas from Jamie’s perspective he was being hypocritical.

The movie is good, but the book is better. I agree that Field of Dreams would be lower on my list.

I cannot fathom they’d have Trent out Colin in his book. There is no way they’d give Trent all of this character development, softening his edge as a journalist with his relationship with Ted and then last week’s episode with Roy, only to just completely torpedo it by having him do something that evil.
