When I make holiday dinners, I always make a fish and a roast. I don’t eat fish, but salmon has a lot of impressive looking and presumably tasty recipes that always turns out well.

I will be taking over my sister’s kitchen for Christmas, and I am somewhat tempted to get her a decent knife. My husband bought me one as a “moving in” gift, and it is my favourite possession. Using other people’s knives is now a tragedy.

This was the year I was going to finally read the manga. Generally I cannot separate art from artist, but it’s never come up for something I really liked. Now it has, and I am torn.
