Exactly. You can talk my ear off, I won’t absorb a thing. But if I read it, then have someone verbally supplement that information, I do much better.

I think it’s a compliment?
I don’t know if it was cultural or just this one couple. I’ve only ever heard of it once.
I just picked a bad major after working fast food for two years, quit three years in because there was no chance in hell I would get a job..and went back to minimum wage instead of sucking it up and heading to the oil patch before it went tits up.
I once read of a wedding in China that was Nazi themed, because “sure they were awful, but they dressed well!”
27 year old millennial here. I never felt so old until I went back to university-and realized the kids were speaking an entirely different dialect, and did not have the same concerns as I do. Which is fine, I was 20 once too.

I bet it was an office game of chicken that went way too far. But I now know these people exist, so..good job I guess?
I feel this, more than I ever thought I would. I’ll admit to being skinny-fat; I don’t so much need to lose weight as work out once in a while and lose the little bit of muffin I’ve got going on. I’m 27, and realizing I can’t eat like I’m 19 anymore. Generally, I don’t care too much.
But “bone broth” is fun to say.
