During my automotive elective days there was a girl who owned an 80’s VW with mechanical fuel injection that had went out on her a few blocks away. I must have had a Mentos freshmaker that day because I had the idea to sit in the engine bay and shoot a can of starting fluid into the intake to get the car to the shop.

I know it is all aerodynamics related but I hate it too. Fuel efficient engines were supposed to free car design they said but the engine and body have become loomed together in an unseparatable weave. Even hydrogen cars and full electric cars often suffer from wind tunnel design.

I have...because everyone thinks they are him. Pretty much everyone I know for some reason can not disconnect entertainment from journalism. They quote Jeremy Clarkson as if he was the word of god in the automotive world. Drives me insane that people actually base all there opinions off of him and don't form their own

On behalf of all men thank you. We need more honest trucks on the road.

Like all diesel owners I never get anywhere near my towing capacity. I just want to prove to my father that I'm a real man by buying a diesels. Sadly I will never realize that manhood can't isn't something you purchase so I still can't obtain my fathers approval thus leading me deeper and deeper to the dark side. I

Black like my soul because I'm dark and mysterious. My heart is like a solitary ship in the night sea. I also have an old man name Whistler assemble Vampire slaying equipment for me. . . But I kinda need to tow my recreational Sea-Doo personal watercraft and John Deere Gator with mowing attachments.

I'm kind of known as the John Henry of the shop I work at. I manually wrench on every car that comes in and more times than not I can out wrench the guys with air impact guns an power tools. I honed these skills after years of at home fixes but with how many unforeseen problems I have run into I absolutely see why

These were the automotive Furbies of their day. Everyone has or knows someone that owns an s10/blazer. Personally I hate them. Just pulling them into a mechanics bay or lift at work is a hassle because they have such a narrow track width. We've had a few that have fried their ECMs because the wires running to it lay

Reason 276 why I never reminisce on old Pokemon episodes.

Is that a Cummsdurinstroke?

Is that a Cumsduringstroke?

This should be at the center of every French city. If the Renault A310 isn't a french collector car by all means import one to me. My honeymoon to France will include a little blue pill whether or not my fiance figures out we didn't go for the romance.

A while back Jalopnik asked for our unpopular automotive opinions. I should have said the over-hype on the Corolla (ae86) but it was such a controversial thing to suggest. I said the same thing about the 350Z but the hype when that thing came out was like the second coming of Christ.

That and this to fulfill my turbo desire and I will forever be as content as a koala on Xanax that was educated in the art of meditation by the Dalai Lama.

I sometimes wish I was raised with all the insecurities an self entitlement of these brodozer owners. Then I too could blind other drivers forcing them to look at my 60k over indulgence. Just to fulfill my desire for attention that I misinterpret as respect. God I'd be so bad ass. Sadly, I was raised with humility.

I said in my comment the people buying these diesels never tow anything near that weight. A 1,000lb Rhino and a small trailer does not mean you need to over concern yourself with brake fade on the one or two 30% grades on the way to the designated trail.

I work as a mechanic and these lifted trucks are such a headache. The lifted diesels hardly fit on our racks they are so Tonka truck ridiculous. Hardly ever see a diesel that isn't 4wd unless it is an actual fleet/service truck. You don't need a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

I can't recall the last time I saw a diesel pickup towing anything that wasn't recreational or as the industry calls their "active lifestyle", then again I live in California. KTM, Rhino side by side, first time boat ownership. You know all the things a Tacoma can tow with ease. Diesel makes you feel impressive but

This is why businesses actually never include everyone in their target market. Try to appeal to everyone and you appeal to no one.
