I'll stick with the cars that will likely never explode in value. More hidden gems the better. They've been saying the Starion would explode in value for decades now. I never thought I'd see a day when ae86 corollas would sell for 10k whilst better cars go unnoticed. The trumped up popularity of the 86 completely

Why does every Jalopnik headline have to read like a high school newspaper? You guys try way to hard to be beyond conventional.

Indeed. That subtle flared design on the rear side markers made the roof spoiler look even more menacing. I'm a sucker for folded paper design.

C is for Cookie and cookie is for me... Umm num num num num!!!

As someone that works on newer trucks almost daily I can not describe how refreshing that truck looks to me. even fleet trucks are almost exclusively chrome. The only time I see black grilles are when bro owners install those hideous bead-lock grille insert. Those lock in the power I assume.., but what do I know?

I'd have to vote cp. Having seen a few in the flesh I'd have to say the fit and finish of the Bricklin makes a Saturn Ions panel gaps look Rolls Royce tight. The acrylic (at least here in California) seems to bow and wave as if the car was trying to inch closer to the sun as it moved across the sky. The carpeting is

And struggling to find one without a cracked nose panel as a young teen?

That must have been something. For the era they were remarkably advanced cars. I've ran across a few Sapparo versions but have yet to see a challenger outside of an old Road and Track. On a side note my brain now sees a Saigon style evacuation in which Challengers are being thrown overboard to fit more refugees

This photo gives me Vietnam style flashbacks of the movie Breakin every time I see it!

The bustle backs where so hideous. The Lincoln Continentals of the era executed the design without inducing vomit.

I would love to find one of these but sadly they seem to have all found their ways to junk yards. I like the reactions i get when I tell people my favorite Challenger was the 82. Most argue it never existed.

I recall having to ask an Australian Starion club how to locate the on off switch for my old Technica. No one in the American clubs seemed to know the model existed.

I owned one with that exact same digital dash. It even had a female voice that reminded you not to do something stupid like drive with the e-brake on. The strangest was the door chime that was less of a chime and more of a Japanese lullaby. I loved it's 8O's everything.

"If you want to understand white people, you need to understand indie music. As mentioned before, white people hate anything that’s “mainstream” and are desperate to find things that are more genuine, unique, and reflective of their experiences."

Maybe it's just me but every car looks better with roo bars.

Sorry kids... You know the dog prefers to be closest to mommy and daddy.

I love my Starion and I'm glad one will get some publicity. They truly are undervalued cars. My offbeat taste means I also watch Top Gear USA so I'm positive this one will be spending the rest of it's life under water.

Yes.., everyone thinks I'm an asshole...
