I realize the inherent dangers of such a drag car but down under they have more pressing issues to worry about. such as Drop-bears that inhabit treetops and attack innocent tourists like me by dropping onto your head from above!

I found this AMC dealer postcard not to long ago in an old book. Its a little worse for wear but takes you back. I'm sure the Javelin was raced promotionally. Light hearted promos like these are great. For all the crap that was happening at the time I'm sure campy jingles and drag races were more than embraced.

Allow me to suggest this great motivational movie that may inspire you during your quest. Strong use of the right arm and hand combined with shifting gears and turning caps to engage accomplishment. Sure the movie is over the top but its not ashamed.
