While your criticism is not without merit, particularly when you are dealing with people who are given snippets and surveys of those constructs who then conflate and confuse them with other concepts, it’s also not without flaws. Well, there’s two things in this. First, people do get things mixed up and wrong — they think they know what feminism is, and they don’t. Second, and I hate to put it this way because it’s agist, but it does have something to do with their age.
