The words “Not to be (sexist/racist/homophobic/etc.) but...” never precede anything worthwhile. It’s best to just tune out before you kill off a few brain cells trying to process whatever discriminatory drivel spews out after those words.

“Crisis pregnancy centers” make me physically angry, particularly because they are often associated with so-called Christian churches. It infuriates me when churches pull crap like this in the name of Jesus. They put women in more danger by giving them false information under the guise of helping. They are frauds, and

The comments he made accidentally exposing the truth about the Benghazi investigation (it was a GOP ploy to damage Hillary Clinton) and exposing the truth that the GOP knew those Planned Parenthood videos were seriously doctored and planned to use them as an excuse to dismantle Planned Parenthood haven’t exactly

You mean anti-vaxxers don’t understand how science works?!

...or anything other than blonde to lighter blonde transition. I tried for several years to lighten my naturally dark brown/auburn hair to get it to be a strawberry blonde, and it never did fully take. My hair was lighter, but never as light as I was aiming for. The only way I could have gotten it to be the strawberry

I wouldn’t have so much of a problem with sexy costumes if there were a variety of other non-sexy costumes for women. It’s disappointing when you don’t want to be a sexy whatever and you just want a normal costume and you have to essentially make the damn thing yourself because non-sexy female costumes hardly exist.

These are more like step-mother of the bride who happens to be the same age as the bride dresses. Most moms of daughters old enough to be getting married outside of an FLDS compound are not this young or thin.

Wow. What a self-centered shithead. She should be friends with that woman who live blogged her jackass commentary on the wedding she attended. They deserve each other.

Ugh. Way to perpetuate sexism under the guise of “charity.” Why should the schedule be decided upon by the men but the work be done exclusively by the women to the benefit of only the men? I get that working together will raise more money, so why don’t they decide on a schedule together and raise money for charity

I’m hoping that he didn’t understand that she’s an elected official who swore an oath to perform the duties of her office as opposed to a regular government employee whose request can easily be accommodated by having someone else perform the duty in question. Her request cannot be accommodated because she’s the only

After reading about this rude woman and reading some of the comments about guests who were shockingly even worse than this woman, I am tempted to send notes to all of my wedding guests to thank them for not being utter shitheads at our wedding.

I had to read through the replies to your comment before I realized that it was a comment from someone at YOUR wedding and not just A wedding. LOL. I’d venture to guess that your husband’s friend is either an unmarried man or a married man whose wife did all of their wedding planning - but I’d place my money on

Yup, that’s usually how it works (unless you just go to Costco and buy a sheet cake or you have a friend make it or something - there’s nothing wrong with wanting to keep things low key if that’s your style). The movies weren’t lying to you, at least not about the cake selection process anyway. And yes, cake tasting

Yup. Some of us genuinely enjoy the taste of diet sodas. I once ordered a Diet Coke float at a Denny’s. My friends thought I was nuts.

They totally can, but the point is that the costumes should be costumes, and they shouldn’t be divided by gender. Costumes don’t have a gender. Society has attached genders to these costumes. If a boy wants to be a “Light up Twinkler Witch,” he should be just as free to be one without worrying if he’s still a boy.

“Machine Gun Jesus” ROFL!!!

Nah, see, they worship Republican Jesus. He’s totally different from the biblical Jesus.

I’m speaking for all women when I say: Duh.

o.O You have to be a sicko to make images like this. How is it that the pro-lifers aren’t considered the sickos when they do stuff like this? That’s far more twisted than anything I’ve ever seen someone who is pro-choice come up with.

I was middle class, but I certainly didn’t have quarters randomly in my pocket or purse just in case my period showed up unexpectedly. I mean, how many of us made sure we had quarters for that “just in case” moment? I know I never did. And often, even when I had quarters the machines were often empty, so yeah,
