Oof that one was messed up. Remember the one from a few years ago about the kid who was writing a paper with his headphones in and an intruder stood at his door, watching, for like 4 hours and wrote stuff on his door? That one scared me so much!

Babysat in the 80's for wealthy family who moved into a home that belonged to the 1st family in town. The 8 year old daughter of the first family died from fever in the late 1800's. You can hook me up to any polygraph or hypnotize me/drug me with truth serum-but I know she still lives there and cries for her Mama at

I agree. I do believe that the British royal family, in particular, serves a purpose. Governments come and go but the royal family’s duty is to the British people, no matter who that population is comprised of. Also, they do a lot of good behind the scenes. Queen Elizabeth campaigned for years for South Africa to end

This is where having a non-political figurehead is absolutely beneficial. This is where the British royals shine- times of disaster and war.

Dollywood is clean as FUCK and has some great rides. Probably my favorite park that I’ve visited.

My experience isn’t reflective of everyone else because I live about a 3 hour drive away from Disney, so it’s very accessible to me.

Several royal family members insisted on going, even though their security teams advised them not to. Also, the first significant financial donation came from William, Catherine, and Harry. Theresa May announced the fund for victims a full 2 days later.

It was the cheapest (and also most flammable) of the three ‘pleasing to the eye’ claddings. Looks good + cheap > causes mass death. The fact that this was a tower block with highly flammable new cladding, no sprinklers, and a fire alarm that didn’t go off until 5 hours after the start of the fire, and was populated

In contrast, Lord Mayor Sadiq Khan showed up the next day and stood in front of a crowd of people hurling insults and boos and complaints at him. But he didn’t run away, he stood there only a foot away and took it. Probably because he understands that these people need an outlet for their grief and anger.

Dear Theresa May and Donald Trump (Evil twins separated at birth?),

I’m thinking the Queen has shown in a very shady and effective way exactly what she thinks of the new government.

If the Queen could be arsed to not only show up, but meet with residents and comfort them despite “security concerns”, May could have done so too. What a spineless coward.

Off topic, but Sarah Silverman’s new special is all sorts of brilliant. Highly recommend it.

Thought better of my comment because I have actually never seen this woman’s work. But I did have a “cool girl” phase that I deeply regret.

Except she’s best friends with Kate The Wasp, another female comic who doesn’t do vulgar Amy Schumer type stuff. Except she’s a staunch supporter of a lot of important feminist causes. Except she is one to generally laugh at herself. Except her point about being smart with your comedy and not “like one of the boys” is

I hope everyone reads the piece in the Guardian by David Lammy, the MP for Tottenham. His wife was a friend of Khadija Saye and he makes a number of important points as to how this is corporate manslaughter and people need to be charged and held responsible for their actions.
