I finally went vegetarian last week! I’ve been wanting to for awhile, and I gave up beef and pork last year, but dropping it altogether seems like such a huge lifestyle change. But I finally cut the cord, and I’m really happy about it.

Shout out for my containered sistren! Six matoes and three varieties of spicy peppers. I moved from Oregon to California last year and very excited to grow some sun lovers 🙂 I have lettuce and a strawberry in hanging baskets too, plus herbs mint, basil, and true lavender. Not bad for start of may!

I don’t have a garden (wooooo apartment life) but recently bought some small succulents and am hoping I don’t kill these. I got the proper soil and plant food this time around. Look how cute they are!

They look so healthy, especially those peas. We just built some raised beds because the back is bad. Some for veggies, and another for pollinators. (i.e. Native bees, honeybees, butterflies, monarchs, etc.

I planted peas, lettuce, basil and parsley along with some wildflowers in pots. Apartment porch but making it work!!

I re sodded half my backyard yesterday and today does that count?
