thats likely because they are supposed to be user created OASIS avatars exactly like user created poser models. have you ever seen the player avatars in second life? thats the closest thing to OASIS now a days.

Second life is such a crazy thing. I load it up every year or two and just take a look around and am astounded at the effort that people have put into it. Kemonozume was one of my favs ever. Tatami Galaxy was just too fast for me. I was trying to keep up with the reading and kept missing the animation. Prob the only anime I’ve had that problem with. Ping Pong was fantastic though.
