47% more weight, to be exact.

All valid points. However:

From Car and Driver in 1994:

It’s a great metric! I wish more people used it. Indicates handling ability without getting into vagaries of skid-pad ratings.

I was about to say.  The Cobra weighed something like 2k+ and nearly all other standard big block cars were north of 4.

I want to see a test thats 60mph-____ in 3 seconds. As in, 3 seconds of wide open throttle, what speed will you be traveling.

One metric we all want but rarely see is the 60-80mph “out of my way, grandma!” metric.

0-100-0 is a better metric to use than 0-60 or even 1/4 mile. It is 2 (TWO) metrics in one!

0 - 100 - 0 is a way better test than 0-60. No reason to hate on it just because it’s not common....if only more people cared about braking as much as they do accelerating.

1. Tom’s right on. Do NOT go on a Saturday. Go on a weekday on your lunch break and be right up front about what you’re there for, whether it’s to get the gift card or a joyride. Maybe they’ll just give you the gift card, maybe they’ll say you can drive the car to kill some time. The worst they can say is no and you

To the guy looking at Type R’s, why don’t you rent one for a few days on Turo (no relation, unfortunately for me) and see if you like it before blowing several thousands on a car you might hate.

Serious reply regarding the Kona inquiry:

Letter 3:

I think I saw something about it somewhere.

Wait...there is a new Corvette?

“As an iceberg, I read this with a tear in my eye, and thought if only my great great grandfather had read this.”

Hey Mister! That book saved my life!!!
