They were way slower because they never had a working hybrid system, so they were about 500 horsepower down and lacking AWD on the other teams. I still maintain they could have had a competent car with another year of testing before entering the series (like Porsche did).

I’m going to steer clear of this conversation before it takes a bad turn.

You did almost all of the research Andrew. Kinda like every paper I ever wrote in college...

A few others have shared more angles that make our detective work a little easier...

One tire caught air for a moment on the pavement patch and the throttle spun the car on the tire still on the ground. After that it’s all overcontrol, though loss of control happened earlier, when he punched it on a crowded bumpy city street.

Why did you turn!?!

Sure, “a colleague” told you that.

Well, now that I was thinking about it, I wonder if the FR car is going to end up as a Cadillac.

Nope. This will also be called Stingray.

It also has almost 2000 more lbs to haul around.

Front-engined Corvettes are already rear transaxle and have shift rods as a result, so not much change there.

Would you like fries with that?

Yellow exterior, red interior...and yellow seat belts? Yikes.  I hope “Chris Smith” here was just fucking around with the configurator but I don’t think so because the status says Sold. Did the local McDonald’s place a build order?

Those X5 tries are hugely aggressive and not just on the G05. I think maybe the top end E70 has just the widest rubber for an SUV. Everytime I see one on the road I stare with envy.

Because RCR isn’t run by idiots. They’re in a position to potentially do material damage to Mecum auctions, and don’t want to put themselves into a position to potentially be sued based on some pictures on the internet.

He earned a lifetime of props from me when he came out about the NASCAR culture around TBI.

I don’t follow NASCAR but I have never seen a Jr story where he does not come across as awesome. Always seems thoughtful.

Well JR should know if they are legit or not. I think its pretty cool that he personally tries to verify it so people don’t get ripped off from spending some serious coin.

Haha that’s a good one. My favorite will always be the “Jenson” button. It cracks me up like a good dad joke

Honestly, I think Lotus had this steering wheel down back in the day. They took a lot of the guess work out and put the important buttons right at your fingertips. Unfortunately, with all the new rules and regulations year after year we will never see another wheel like this. Bernie’s legacy still hurts F1 today
