Does anyone on Jalopnik realize that the market (old baby-boomers who don’t want anything exciting) is the reason behind this? How many cars like the Elmiraj do you buy new? Most Jalops clamor for more interesting new cars, and then turn around and buy used cars. Full disclosure-I bought my manual V8 RWD car used, but…

My mom has a 6MT Elantra, the design works in deep red and at the very least looks more windswept and unique than these other family sedans.

Yes! I agree. Everytime I see one around my college campus I can’t help but smile. Had I not found a near-perfect Mustang GT I would’ve undoubtedly bought one of these. Miatas have cute looks and all, but in my eyes the Crossfire is absolute artwork.
