The quoted out the door price they gave me was like 25500. Add on 9500 for govt rebates and it is 16k. That’s without haggling.

I’ve had both ends of the spectrum with CarMax. Took my wife’s car there after a dealer lowballed us by like 3000. CarMax came in with an offer of exactly what we thought it was worth. Took my car last month and they came back with a number 3000 or so off of what I thought it was worth.

How do factory incentives affect the price? I was looking at a Focus Electric and invoice is like 27k. The MSRP is 29k with Ford throwing in 3500. That brings the price below invoice. Does that mean that the dealer is likely to hold firm and not go any lower?

Yeah they will use past salary to bump you up, not to knock you down.

Just remember, this is probably your only chance to really negotiate, so take advantage. Companies seem to allocate more for employee recruiting than on retention. Once you become a cog in the wheel you lose value in their eyes.

One of the best features of my oneplus one has been the ability to control permissions. I never understood why angry birds needed my contacts, phone history, camera etc.

I’ve had my pair of Docs for over 20 years. The sole has begun to separate from the boot and I need to get them fixed. The sole is thin too. Need to look into this.

Am I the only one that has trouble with AdBlock on their android phone? On my chromebook it works great, but on my phone it doesn’t work at all. I set the proxy and still get every ad. Must have tried 5-6 times over the last couple months. I’ll try it, doesn’t work, then I uninstall it. Go to a site a couple days

I used to hate doing things alone, especially dining out. I got over my problem when I started going on business trips. I would rather be the guy at the restaurant, baseball game, or bar alone than the guy in his hotel room alone.

They really did. I needed to get out of there. The morale was low due to constant (and still happening) layoffs, and the entire 8 hours of my day was spent wondering why am I wasting my life here. I was back in school so I did have a plan, they just moved up the date.

The worst was at my old job. The place is bleeding money so they were reorganizing our department and those that wanted to stay had to reapply for basically their current job but with a different title and extra obligations. I had a phone interview with my director who asked a total of 5 stock questions that she

Strayer? Might as well send them to clown college. I think community college has less of a stigma, and will probably give you a better education too.

This could be any driver at my kid’s school. Off topic, but it absolutely baffles my mind how the parents at my kid’s school could drive so fast and reckless in their own kid’s school zone. A true sign of the kind of asshole a person is.

This seems very niche. Besides the phone requirement you can also rule it out if you are on a family plan. I pay 110 for 5 lines with 2.5 gb each. Throw in the fact that t mobile doesn’t count music streaming towards data, and it makes even less sense to switch. I’m not seeing the value in this unless you are someone

Oh it can be stopped

Call me when it’s time to sell

Maybe you can get a better price, but how much is your time and sanity worth? I am in the process of trading in my car for a minivan. I have a job, family, and school at night. That leaves me zero time to fake a friendship with a salesman who wants me to play the waiting game in hopes of wearing me down. I need to get

Lived in America all my life. Grew up poor and on welfare. In my thirties and still working on getting my degree. Worked minimum wage jobs until I was 25, minus the two years I was my grandmother’s live in 24/7 caretaker for $20 of disposable income a week. Had to deal with bad choices along with having bad things out

Explain the difference between being thrown as you call it a shitball, and making a bad decision? What category do things like teen pregnancy, dropping out of school, going to jail, and doing drugs fall in to? I am sure I missed a few, but that probably covers most of the fast food workers.

The worst part for me was the onion and grease smells. It took days to rid those odors, and just as I did it was time to go back to work. My sister worked at McDonald’s around the late 80s and early 90s when the minimum wage was low $3 like you stated (and you only had to be 15 to work). Making things worse for her
