Ah, the good old “fit the description”. I’ve been told I fit the description so many times it got to the point where I started questioning whether I led a double life.... Part time HS Student/College Student/Young professional depending on how long ago we’re talking, part time violent felon. I must have been a busy…
I just came here to reiterate that white privilege is not a thing. Total liberal media conspiracy. Now excuse me while I continue through life with the wind at my back.
yeah, I have a few stories like that too. Playing pick up ball in a “nice” neighborhood was always a risk. I was handcuffed and detained for about a half hour because I “fit the description” of a person suspected of breaking into nearby houses. I was 16, and no more than 5'7 160 lbs. The guy they were looking for…
I’m black. When I was like 12 or 13 or so I played baseball in the summer. One day after a game a group of us went out for pizza after the game. After ordering a few of us went outside to toss the ball for a few minutes in the parking lot. A few minutes into tossing the ball we heard a loud tapping on a window near…
This is a depressing as fuck and also confusing.
Yeah, a lot of the vanilla dungeons were like that. Sprawling, confusing, overly long messes.
Doesn’t help that every time you get Gnomeregan, the tank wants to skip shit by jumping down without telling anyone. I hate that place so much.
It gets a lot better after the first two. They make up for them and you learn the history of the Avatar Cycle itself with the first Avatar.
GW Bush did do some commendable things as President, including, for example, pressing to funds to help fight AIDS in Africa. And one of those commendable things he did was to sign legislation instructing the Smithsonian to start planning for this museum, and saying he believed it should be built on the national Mall.
As a fan of jumping/climbing on things in MMOs whenever possible, I loved this. It did take a while no thanks to respawn tending to send me back down to the wolf area more often than not, but I did make it up there despite being a Warlock. The biggest frustration was the way the game likes to push you backwards if you…
The Conservapedia link, of course, is particularly interesting, since it has a certain authoritative status here - it’s maintained by, and that entry was written by, Phyllis’ son Andy.
It’s a shame she didn’t stick around a few months longer to see Trump get his butt kicked but at the very least she lived long enough to see most of her causes die pathetic wheezing deaths.
This is a magnificent obituary and is exactly how she deserves to be memorialized.
I think the real problem is that we dilute our patriotic symbols too much. Kids still say the pledge of allegiance every fucking morning, on autopilot, and no one thinks twice about what any of it actually means. We parade out the national anthem for everything from the Super Bowl down to elementary school basketball…
Two good choices. I offer up Big Trouble in Little China as another.
Posting an anonymous picture of the same character doesn't actually help in any way as to who it is.
It would probably go a long way in these Cosplay posts to actually note who these people are trying to portray. I’d think it’d be pretty impossible for everyone to know every character from everything out there.
Ya I don’t know wtf bungie was thinking when creating that game and not adding matchmaking. Thankfully I never played that POS game, but my roommate used to bitch all the time that it was difficult to get groups together for raids because there was no matchmaking and communicating in the game was a chore.
No no no no the best thing the Division did that Destiny didn’t is Matchmaking! Matchmaking for every missions even the challenge mode. Now that take Destiny who said that people can’t do challenge (aka “raid”) with random players.
