Yes because Stein really convinced that many people to leave it blank. Stop passing the buck. Blame the people who didn’t do what they needed to.

It’s not her fault Hillary ran a terrible campaign. The sort of people who vote for the Green Party would never have voted for a mainstream candidate from a mainstream party. The tiny portion of the electorate that voted for Stein were lost to us anyway.

As dispassionately as I can muster, this argument remains specious.

The claim that 3rd parties “steal votes” is kind of dubious, in my opinion. Some part of the population is going to be dissatisfied with major party candidates, always, and they’re going to vote for someone else. There’s also going to be some Libertarian/Green loyalists that will vote for those parties no matter

My problem with blaming the third party candidates is that it is assuming that each of those votes would have gone towards Clinton. That’s not the way it works. Historically, people are more likely to vote for the candidate that doesn’t represent their party than they are to vote third party.

The Democrats are not entitled to Green Party votes.

Also the 45% of people who stayed home, which many of those Stein voters would have likely added to had she not been on the ticket. Blaming third parties is an easy scapegoat.

I think more left their top blank in MI than voted for Stein, right?

Not to defend Stein, but just to be objective you could make this argument for those who left the tops of their tickets blank, or those who stayed home, or those who voted for Trump, all of which represent larger groups than Stein voters.

Make no mistake, we’re entirely fucked. I know myself, and I know I don’t have the fortitude to survive nuclear winter. My one consolation is that I live in a city that is probably on some country’s first strike list so at least the end will be quick for me.

Same here. I haven’t been clicking anything. Then I saw the first story on this and went ballistic. No pun intended. *sob*

Ive been trying to avoid coverage about Trump but this absolutely has me reeling and seething with rage that I had to comment. Not only are we fucked but this is going to deteriorate our relationship with China. God fucking damnit. This is fucking stupid. This time next year we will be in another war.

So let’s imagine I got hired for a job. I interviewed, it went well enough, and I got offered the position. “You can start in two weeks! Welcome to the team!” Imagine in that two weeks, I ran over my new boss’s dog, set the office on fire, slept with my colleague’s wife, and sold some insider knowledge to my new

He has no fucking clue what politics and diplomatic protocols are. Whats next he will visit North Korea ???

I kind of feel like the people who did vote for Trump should be made to watch every minute of this shit for the next for years. They need to realize exactly what they’ve done and how badly they’ve fucked absolutely everyone and everything.

I REMEMBER! I used to remember phone numbers, too. But after 15 years of having a cell phone, I can only remember three - the landline at my dad’s house (same # I grew up with), my best friend’s (same # since high school), and my own (changes every couple years). Oh, I also remember the number for the Chinese food

Now playing

For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet: I forgot my phone

If my children were being held hostage, and a ransom note were delivered to me, and the kidnappers’ only demand was for me to watch a Trump rally right now, we’d have a heckuva memorial service for those little buggers.

I know how she feels. I’ve taken a leave of absence from cable news, and I’ve had actual, measurable and manifest health benefits (mental and physical) from it. It’s a beautiful thing. Sorry, Chris, Rachel and the rest, but you weren’t good for me.

No but reality shows like Duck Dynasty, and every shitty show on TLC covers them.
