Remember that content will actually prohibit players from entering if their light level is too low for it. It does in D1 there’s no reason to expect that to change in D2.

Destiny was originally supposed to have a story. It wasn’t envisioned as a “Go to pace, kill thing.” exclusive game.

There were whole sections cut out of Destiny, the European Deadzone was one of them, a gargantuan area that was cut from Destiny and shelved only to be used in D2.

The Dreadnaught was a joke. “It’s the largest map we’ve made!” Not really a selling point when the relative size of your maps make a basketball court look huge.

No one played Destiny for the story because there WAS no story in Destiny. If D2 fixes that then it’s already better than the original.

I put my $5 down pretty much just to play the beta and make my final decision on whether I’ll be getting D2.

I’ve played Destiny since the midnight launch, I was unhappy with the direction the game was going but I stuck it out, when Rise of Iron came it actually started to feel like a full game.

Agreed, a “Special edition” used only for tournament level play that allowed spectators to ghost the field allowing for wide views of the battle would make this easier.
