I loved Rose but this episode made me empathize hard with Blanche.

We’re taking someone’s word he said that, but yes, I understand what you mean. I don’t know what to feel towards him. It’s not that I am without compassion towards people in these situations, but he told a woman he knew was mentally ill to shoot herself, and he likely also knew she was in possession of a gun. Maybe

I am a teacher and these teachers’ comments make me want to cry. I would never say such things about a single one of my students, even the ones that would have had no problem saying worse to or about me. Some students can be difficult for various reasons but these teachers disgust me, as do any that are okay with this.

But it isn’t advice at all. It’s just a statement. This woman cannot go back in the past and make a different decision about who she tells and when. She could have told her something to the effect of, “Consider why you have waited so long before thinking of speaking to your niece about this. I don’t know your reasons

Why did I only just now realize that this is an insanely common trope? Maybe I was just enjoying it too much.

People are piling on a bit, even if it doesn’t bother you. Anyone denying that is just being willfully ignorant. I assume they are piling on because they do the same sort of thing you mentioned, or because they enjoy reading such posts. I’m with you, now that I really think about it. It is kind of gross.

Chanel #5 was popular I believe.

I’m confused as to why they haven’t unless they know something we don’t. There’s been questionable things that were allowed to stay but they generally involve adults. I guess theoretically speaking some pervert could go to the school and start looking for little girls named Helen, but at least through this post there

I googled the phone number and it belongs to a school in New York. At least it isn’t someone’s home phone number.

You have no idea if this was a “stupid fucking teacher.” I’ve been teaching for about 10 years. In most places I’ve taught the administrators are very unhappy if they are the ones who have to say something about a child being out of dress code when the teacher has clearly seen the child already. Some administrators

I think people get that, but it does not take away personal responsibility for murdering six newborn babies.

I'm with you. I have uterine fibroids so it's not usually just a little spot, but if it is, I'm just going to use a piece of toilet paper to soak up the excess and then put in a new tampon. I also sometimes use a type of heating pad you can stick directly to your skin.

Who are you to tell autistic people what is best for them?

Isn't that why they rub their "hands" together like cartoon villains? As a kid I thought they were just always full of evil plans and were inaudibly laughing maniacally to themselves.

It wasn't nearly as bad as I always assumed it would be. Not that I spent a lot of time thinking about chewing flies, but when you're a kid these things cross your mind. I spit it out almost immediately. But yeah, it isn't the greatest feeling to know you've just gnashed up a fly.

I had a fly land in my ice cream once and for a split second thought, "there aren't supposed to be raisins in this." It was chewy.

Is there a chance the guy was intellectually disabled in some way? I knew a woman who was just horribly rude (not that you were) to a guy working in a restaurant, only to be quietly be told a friend that the guy had an intellectual disability and was not "stupid." You handled it well, but I feel really badly for the

I understood her perfectly and I have hearing problems...

What is this? I need to know!

That is awesome!
