I fully agree with you, especially with the last sentence - I can't remember any dev team that made me so damn ready to go and throw my money at them. I'm not happy with some things in Sm4sh (I'm nitpicky as hell), but these guys worked really hard to make everything perfect.

Isn't most of the charm of the Potter saga the fact that it was just seven books and done? Rowling was smart not to drag it out more and such? Leaving it to other writers to do prequels and other works just threatens to dilute the magic (no pun intended) that made them so special in the first place.
