I’ll have to give this a shot; still trying to find a go-to tequila.

I think mid-priced/mid-tier might be more accurate. Not cheap, but still affordable on occasion.

I don’t know why people go apeshit over Tito’s. It’s quality, but unremarkable, and kind of overpriced I think; 28$ for 1.75 L where I am. If you want a flavorful vodka, spend an extra 5$ for Ketel One. If you want something like Tito’s that’s simple without being nasty, you can go cheaper. I tried Tobaritch for the

Tito’s is ok, but nothing remarkable. There’s cheaper stuff that’s just as good.

It goes both ways. The quarterback has to get rid of the ball quickly, move in the pocket, read the defense and call an audible. The patriots have a lot of injuries on the line, but Brady helps make them look good.

Man of Steel is almost as gray as this comment. How about a little color over here for an nfl dismisser?

Of the widely available brands, Beefeaters is probably the best reasonably priced gin. Bombay Sapphire is a little more expensive, but nicer, without being too expensive. I would suggest a Tom Collins for the drink. It’s basically sparkling lemonade with gin; the gin taste isn’t too strong.

There are some decent boxed wines. And it’s a little more convenient; you can squirt some out whenever you feel like it without having to commit to opening a whole bottle.

I hate how that works. I start falling asleep and feeling good on the couch with the tv and lights on, and then I figure I can just turn it all off and hop in bed... but nope.

I was wondering if anyone in the comments would mentions costco’s gin... it seems pretty unique to me. Not sure I like it much all things considered, but it makes for an interesting mixed drink sometimes due to the strong flavoring.

I got it from Total Wine for the first time recently, based on an “employee’s favorite” card. It hasn’t left much of an impression on me. No complaints, but not much interesting to me... decent price and gets the job done though *shrugs.*

That’s the nice thing about gin to me; even the cheap stuff is drinkable. Cheap tequila or cheap whiskey is hard for me to stomach.

I’m surprised Gordons was so high too. It’s not terrible, but I can feel the sensation of a cheap and rough spirit when I’m drinking it.

I wasn’t familiar with the cucumber; I’ll have to try that. I have a friend who drinks a lot of Hendricks gin and tonics, and I thought he was pissing his money away compared to cheaper gins when he made me one once.

I didn’t realize people strongly disliked gin until the comments in this article. I feel like any gin is pretty drinkable, even the cheap stuff. Cheap tequila is the worst of all cheap liquor to me. I like a good tequila though.

I think a lot of people have first tried gin and tonic and then decided they don’t like gin, when really it’s the tonic they don’t like.

Doing those things is real labor, and requires hard won knowledge. People like to act like it’s just a fun hobby anyone can pick up in their spare time.

He knows how to make a slick movie, and avoid lame groan-worthy things. I don’t think he had any interesting ideas for the movie though, it was just about hitting the recognizable beats.

Couple of dipshits. I just let aggressive drivers go by these days, even if I have to slow down or speed up or modify my cruise one way or another. No point in getting in a pissing match or trying to pretend I’m dispensing street justice. I’d rather they just get the hell away from me.
