To be clear, my dad isn’t mad at Whitmer for taking away from his business; it’s because of the inconsistencies of the shut down. Which is reasonable. What isn’t, is this protest.  Nothing about it is a mature, civilized response to someone trying to protect you from.... quite literally yourself.

I hate everything about this. My own dad was there, protesting. He’s uber-Trump and so whatever the orange man says is gospel to him. Which is really frustrating to me because I love my family but want him to be able to think for himself and accept that different viewpoints exist.

I grow produce every year. If I needed to rely on what I grow every year for my family to survive, we would starve.  Besides, it’s too damn early for planting most crops in Michigan.  I live in Ohio.  The whole seed story is BS.

Or people like the idea of being able to grow their own food. Few will actually grow enough food to be meaningful to them. the extension of the order is only 15 more days (for now) i would argue that for now that is still non essential

This is why grocery stores are putting signs up all over for 1 person per cart because people were taking families to the store to get out of the house and crowding everything up.

I got into an argument with a dense & dumb motherfucker on my local facebook group today about this. He truly doesn’t understand that the reason our numbers have stopped increasing is because everyone is staying home. I got 40 likes in 5 minutes before he blocked me from seeing his post.

I agree with you. she is currently working from home. She has not come into contact with people who could be infected.  If she does have to actually go into work they should contact the HOA then.   There is no need to have an RV sitting in your driveway just in case you think you might get infected.
