Couldn’t Porsche just install a larger turbo to increase the range?
There’s no such thing as too much turbocharging. They just need to raise the redline beyond 6250 RPM, and reintroduce a bit of lag to make it more dramatic.
Warming up for five minutes, are you nuts? They overheat after six, that’s too long warming up.
WELL ACKSHULLY they’re both Porsche Cayennes, so.
This made me giggle. I love the fact that this is being made in 2019.
Looks like a far more honest car than the Challenger.
I mean, love it, hate it, nothing it...
I’m just excited to see a widebody car that isn’t THAT weird.
Its like what... the ford raptor... and... oh god anyone else?... are these really the only 2 ‘Wide body’ versions of production vehicles? damnit. well ok AND the challenger but still.
Are you responsible for offspring? Perfect family car. No children? Idk it’s big and comfy and has a good stereo. The beauty of the Charger imo, is that at its core, it’s just a big-ass family sedan with enough space for like a family of 6.
Gotta figure out how to bring this up to the wife with more tact. I blew it last time with the Trackhawk when I lead with the HP then the price. This time I think I’ll start with the safety ratings and stopping distances, then follow with HP and price.
Big car goes fast.
Yes, I have noticed, but I fall for it every time.
Yup, that’s the 2040 test mule 1.0 right there.
Seriously! I saw one in person for the first time yesterday, and the guy did a full rip to redline after he pulled out of the parking lot. I had goosebumps for half an hour.
I’m not sure how long it took to develop the new Toyota Supra.
Under the 86? That thing must be powered by the solar cell they use on calculators.
Subtle dig by the Lexus folks over to their friends at Toyota.
The CTS-V was quite a bit more expensive than and in a completely different class than a Camaro, Mustang, or Challenger. The 2nd gen started in the $70k range while the 3rd gen was over $85k starting price. A ZL1-1LE with the same engine and a more track focused chassis starts right under $70k.
