Good to know! The only person I’ve discussed it with is my psych who specializes in children/young adults (been seeing him since I was 12). He sort of sprung it on me at our last meeting - “oh, at some point we’ll have to discuss what happens when you want to become pregnant. There aren’t any documented side effects

How long ago was your miscarriage? My mom had a similar experience in the 80s when no one told her about the risk of post-miscarriage depression. I’d hope that all medical professionals know that it’s a potential side effect that should be discussed with patients.

This is so, so needed. Too many horrible incidents have happened because of undiagnosed pre/post-partum depression (of course, Andrea Yates comes to mind immediately).

;)

Why not both?

who wants to know?

for some reason this reminds me of that part in Harry Potter when all the spiders leave Hogwarts and swarm into the woods so what I’m saying is these people probably have a massive iSpider in their basement and should probably contact Steve Jobs for help via seance.

Well now I hope that, too!! Thanks for the mental image :)

Definitely. It’s like we can’t even let our guards down, even when having a fun time (unless you’re in a private location with only close friends, which... can get a little old).

That’s a good idea! Unfortunately, the host was a friend of a friend, but if my group plans on going to her place again I might try to sneakily figure out if he’ll be there.

JFC! I mean yeah, sure, you’ve gotta be careful about giving out too much information from the get-go - but at the same time, it shouldn’t have to be that way. The fact that we have to be so guarded even if they seem totally normal is just so fucked up.

well, that’s a pretty good face to show how I felt about it.

I remember that one. So, so accurate, and so, so sad.

I met a guy at a party recently. He kept striking up a conversation with me even though it was clear (to me) that I wasn’t interested. At first, he said “wow - you’re a tough nut to crack!”, then “you seem so reserved - it must be difficult to get to know you, but I want to try! Say, Tuesday night?” (I said no). A

The #YesAllWomen campaign seems like a million years ago now. Remember how it started a national conversation (that I thought would actually have an impact... boy was I wrong)?

On a first/blind date, men fear that she’ll be ugly or “crazy”.

1. Louis Tomlinson will give his baby mama, Briana Jungwirth, £10,000 (roughly $14,000) a month for child support until 2034

He’s that guy in high school who we all hated because he didn’t get senioritis and actually kept putting effort and then made us all look bad.

If you step back, it’s a little absurd that the AL uses a DH and the NL doesn’t. Baseball’s the only major American sport where the two leagues play by different rules.
