I have never been to this festival, but I went to similar music festivals in Belgium when I was younger (too young, I think in hindsight), and I remember this icky feeling of constantly feeling threatened by groups of drunk men. I am not and was not easily scared, having grown up in a big city and being used to

This LBD forces you to walk one foot in front of the other.

Oh god. What an absolute dick. (I was nowhere near super successful btw, just doing well for myself considering my age and circumstances at the time. The little bitch couldn’t even handle THAT)

Germans put it on their resume! I’m not from Germany but I worked there for a while, and I saw (mostly) women put ‘Elternzeit’ aka maternity/paternity leave on their resume to explain gaps. Germany is really into gender equality though and I work in academia which might be a specific context, but I think the kind of

Oh. This actually makes me sad.

I am sad that wine was wasted, but happy that it led to this poetry.

My ex had the constant switch between ‘I love how successful my girlfriend is’ to other people and a hissed ‘don’t think too much of yourself’ to me down to A SCIENCE.

A photo of a woman on her knees cleaning = support for Trump. I guess she’s staying on brand..

Good for them. As a pretty boring monogamous Straight who can literally walk into city hall to marry my partner whenever I want, I don’t see why other consenting adults should be denied the right to have the partnerships they want. It creeps me out a lot when people get upset over other people’s choice of partner(s).

Haha, I put on an episode and after 10 minutes my partner came in from the other room all agitated. ‘WHAT are you watching?’

House of Leaves has been sitting in my bookcase for 5+ years. This summer I’m finally going to read it!

It is kind of impressive to get Netflix $$ and the cast they did and STILL make a really awful show.

At some point in the first few episodes (the show made me rage-y and I quit), she behaves so unnecessarily terrible at her job that she gets fired, refuses her dad’s money because reasons, then GOES INTO A DUMPSTER TO FIND FOOD. I want to find the people who think that is funny and/or relatable, and punch them.

It was a good show

My partner and I have the exact same age difference and we also met in my mid twenties. Concern trolling over age differences in adult relationships is very boring.

This reminds me of the time when we all found out that Gorillaz was just Blur. Conclusion: all ~secret art~ is just British musicians in tight blazers.

These things are scary! A few years ago I was cooking with my brother and dad and we used something like this to aerate batter for a fluffy crust. My dad was an idiot and put too many gas cartridges in the siphon, and the thing exploded all over the fucking kitchen. We were lucky that the only result was a super thin

I feel like I will have a similar parenting style to your mom. (btw, though mine never talked about princesses specifically, she was a big proponent of ‘you don’t have to be good at everything’. This became especially painfully clear when I joined a musical theater class aged 10 and after our performances the other

I KNOW SOMEONE WHO THE SCANNED SIGNATURE THING! I almost mentioned that. He is 70 though. I do not know if that information makes you feel better or worse.

What do you do!?
