conan and ferguson were absolutely in their own lanes and i think their friendly rivalry elevated both shows.

Craig Ferguson was one of the best—he was funny, he really was good with guests, and he actually had something to say now and then (and he generally said it without being an overbearing jerk).
Ferguson is kind of a different thing, he never wanted to be the next Carson and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed talking with the guests, which is something Conan never settled into. Letterman also personally produced and still owns all of the late late show episodes. They both seemed to love being silly idiots…
I give Craig Ferguson a lot of credit for asserting, way back in the early 2010s, that people should be ashamed of themselves for making fun of Britney Spears’ mental health problems and her public divorce. He was way ahead of the curve on that one, based entirely on empathy.
You could argue that Craig Ferguson burned more brightly for a shorter period, but nobody has done it for as long as well as Conan.
We got a base Honda Odyssey and honestly, I think that’s the best one. You still get the 3.5L VTEC V6 and 10-speed transmission with sport mode and paddles, power seats, Bluetooth and a good stereo with subwoofer, and two-zone A/C.
I’ve never understood why anyone liked Leno or how he was “revered” as a “legendary” stand-up comic. He always came off as an unfunny, unlikable, punching-down, smarmy dick.
86/BRZ, especially now that they’re bringing a lot of active safety features on the new models (Eyesight on automatics, Blind-spot monitoring available on higher trims.) The only useful feature on the new higher trim is the 18-inch wheels with Michelin PS4s, and those can just be bought for a base as a second set.
Yes! And the list of these comedians who respect him, are, a murderers’ row - Ferrell, Silverman, Short, Carvey, Norm, Sandler, Jack Black, Steve Martin, Odenkirk, Spade, etc
Something that has become increasingly endearing is that Conan always seems to have people on the right side of comedy in his corner. The outpouring that Conan seems to get from actual funny people is wonderful. Hearing someone like Bill Hader talk on the podcast about Conan’s influence makes me smile so damn much.…

I’ve suggested this before, but how about further limit the amount of crew allowed to work on the car or servicing the wheels? Reduce it to essentially only two wheel teams would mean they have to do front at same time then rear or left only then right. Would certainly slow the stops way down with more margins for…
Only I may dance.
That was a really cool cold open for nice send off episode. I especially liked the end of the episode when Conan took the time to show appreciation for a lot of his long time staff. I know he’s not going anywhere, but I’m still sad. It’s gonna be weird not having him on each weeknight.

Re #2: Andy Richter Controls The Universe was awesome. Many years later I am still mad that it never got a better shot
Tried selling my 2002 Olds Intrigue on-line. It was amazing the number of scammers that came crawling out of the woodwork.
