@wymarc101: No. The Eagles are essentially deities, and they do not wish to interfere in the affairs of middle earth.

@Witzbold: Wikipedia is more than adequate for a 'comments' discussion about a call of duty game. Especially in confirmation of a fact so general like the one he asked (Was there a camp in Vorkuta and was there an uprising?).

@Golgari: You know wikipedia has an awful lot of info if you would just look. The Vorkuta uprising was a real event. Not nearly as violent as the game, but none the less it actually happened. [en.wikipedia.org]

@Kanji08: Just to chime in sc4ld's remark. You said "most of the commenters" which is is a fairly bold statement. That image is iconic as it comes. Now #14, that's a pic I wouldn't expect many to know, but it's story is just as tragic.

Downright awesome that someone can have so much fun in Halo without firing a single bullet.

Where is Falstad Wildhammer?

I actually enjoyed the story, but I had also seen a documentary recently called Restrepo which centers on an outpost in Afghanistan.

@bluem00se: I completed ACII on my 360, which then promptly died.

Is everyone forgetting the time traveler with the modern watch in the documentary Ben Hur?!?!

Hey Mark. Care to comment on the number of games your company has cloned or stolen from competitors? ie: Mafia Wars and Cafe World?

I loved Braid, but after some particularly frustrating parts near the end I hated that little smug bastard with his stupid red tie and sport jacket.

This is the home of my cousin Balin.

I'm a halfie too.

@Unfather: Read a little closer. There are loads of personal opinions and reflections in the review.
