It continuously amazes me that Microsoft Office is still the only game in town. From an end-user experience, the product has never been very good. Sure, they’ve made improvements, but the workflow has never been fantastic. It’s a mediocre user experience and I have no idea why someone else doesn’t have a competing

How come you guys don’t liveblog this stuff anymore?

I know I’m a bit late to this conversation, but can we please dispense with hyperbolic phrases like “murder”. There’s a lot of human values being applied to this discovery. “Horrifying”, “brutal”, “savage”, “awful”, etc. Murder is a human construct, and is only relegated to the killing of our own species. I’m sorry

Who owns the trademark for “Fuck You Citigroup”?

I always imagined that they would be used against siege engines or wooden shields, not against armored combatants.

Transformers: The Movie: Where my childhood ended.

No, thank you. It has been quite refreshing to have a civil, pleasant conversation and exchange of ideas on these boards. It's a rare thing, and I thank you.

So... The guy responsible for a service that allows people to surf the internet anonymously was up to something shady? As upsetting as this story is, I can't say that I am surprised.

Duh.

I mean, the other entries are more or less based on science, but the Death Star, as is Star Wars, is pretty much 100% fantasy.

The amazing thing here is that anyone still has a MySpace password.

I don’t think that it’s any surprise that Bill wanted to avoid the one personal subject that immediately countered his point. What an ass.

The only facts that anyone is interested in (on either side of the aisle) are the ones that can be summed up in an infographic. If it’s not immediately digestible and comes in a tweet-sized package, no one is interested. No one makes deep dives anymore, if they ever did.

Minor point, but why do people consider Noah’s Ark to be a children’s story? Because it has cute animals? Whether you believe it or not, the story is about the death of almost every land animal on Earth. How is that a kids story?!?

How deep was it?

European, perhaps?

I saw this movie before I read the comic book, which was an unusual move for me, but there you go.
