Noodles are the best. Most of the time I retain the broth. Years back, I used to cook them in a skillet with just enough water for the broth to cook the noodles plus whatever veg I put in to wind up with more of a sauce. If I made a tasty broth or if I’m using premade base I’ll eschew the flavoring.

We used to do that too. Well, my family at least. Anytime I told someone else about it they’d look at me like I was crazy. Speaking of crushing up noodles, last weekend I found a variety in the snack aisle at the Asian grocery store where crushing them up in the bag was the expressly labeled purpose. First time I had

Is Freedom Cry the one with Adewale as the character you play? For some reason I thought that was basically a couple hour dlc addition to the story. Well hey, if it’s free and standalone it’s fine by me.

Any excuse to post this picture...

That is the weirdest fucking thing I’ve heard in quite some time. I can’t think of much I’d less like to do with my friends than get a vasectomy together. Support and encourage a friend that wants to have the procedure? Absolutely no problems there. The getting drunk and going as a group thing is all kinds of weird

And here I was thinking they were missing a word after looking forward to learning what differentiated the Dutch Reacharound from a regular reacharound.

Ohhhh boy. All the pitfalls of an MMO launch coupled with heat and proximity to thousands of angry people with none of the mitigating relief of waiting that shit out at home. I’m surprised no one has thrown anyth and there comes the water bottle. Classy.

I feel like kind of a douche for complaining about having too much great entertainment as it’s a completely self inflicted problem but there it is. What am I supposed to do? Not buy games? I don’t think so!

That was part of what made it such a tough call to make! Once I realized the locations with the cells were tied to the story I had a feeling it was going to work out that way. So it was either progress to that point and then put the story on hold right when it would likely be hardest to do that OR do the side stuff

Oh god help me... After finishing the story of Nier Automata, I’m replaying Drakengard for the first time in well over 10 years. Thankfully I’m running it on an emulator so I can load in some ridiculous cheats to soften the soul crushing grind but oh man is it rough even beyond that. I guess I blanked out its numerous

That was a tricky thing for me. The story was so enjoyable that I wanted to do as much as I could in essentially one uninterrupted chunk. However, I also enjoy doing the side quests and exploring because the world and gameplay are rich and fun. The downside of doing too much of that might (and nearly did) burn me out

Now playing

Maybe they don’t like the blind lady’s sculpting.

Unfortunately, probably not. I’m only passingly familiar with the various Truck Simulator games but I don’t think realistic collision was ever one of the strong points of the series.

I was thinking the same thing in regards to the level of detail. I’m familiar with the game but it’s never been more than a “If I see it with a sharp discount on Steam then maybe...” game. Now I just have to get the proper peripherals and build an old arcade style cabinet to look like the cabin of a big truck.

Looking at the screen, they might be demonstrating the strength of some kind of medical vial using a press. Now all it needs is a rating system, like from one of those grip strength testers.

I certainly don’t have any love for Trump but shit, I wouldn’t want him dead. If he didn’t slip off the handle of that press and crack his head on the table, he might have had a fucking heart attack from the four seconds of exertion.

“We” refers to all his little bastard brothers in the big tree out in the woods back in Selma. It’s fairly common knowledge, at least around here.

I don’t think there’s another game or series that plays to me quite like Yakuza does. The trailer spends roughly the same amount of time on mini-games and wooing hostesses as it does showcasing the fighting styles and I love that. They know their fans.

Like a documentary. “Here we see the subject, hereafter referred to as ‘Child’, beginning to appreciate the complexities of feeding oneself at meal time. Let’s watch!”
