I did the same as devil in the details. I mean you do get Maxson’s sweet coat and a unique gatling laser for turning on them. I remember hearing mention of a unique set of power armor from him but I don’t know how to get it...or if it even definitely exists for that matter.

If you’re scrounging around and trading for them whenever you can, pretty soon you’ll have a big stockpile of them. Don’t know if you’ve gotten far with the BoS so I’ll be wary of spoilers but you can “liberate” cores from their suits once you get to know them. Just don’t let anyone see you. It is also hilarious.
