@excaliburps: In the lower end their about the same price atm, alot of 40-50' lcd/plasma's on sale right now for near the same price.

@Ueziel: Plasma's are also typically less bright than lcd's and one big thing is you cant lay a plasma down, if you do say goodbye to that expensive tv.

I disagree completely on the 720p advice.
