you know that’s bullshit. if the races were reversed, this would be the first story on the website. don’t even try to tell me that Jezebel wouldn’t have a field day over a story concerning 4 white people kidnapping an torturing a black kid.

“Basically, Bo needs to suck it up and realize skin colour/ethnicity is sometimes the best way to specify someone particular in a crowd.”

“these are the same people”

“White men want to be oppressed SO BADLY”

So a little racism is ok, just as long as it’s not too much racism?

Interesting that my post is at the very bottom of the comments. Especially since I literally had the very first post.

Is anyone really advocating that. Seems like a strawman argument.

“That is, until it turned out the shooter was a self-hating gay man.”

DUMB.

“Why are these other Christians telling this poor girl she’s going to hell over a highlighted bible?”

investigations that ultimately led to nothing. investigations by themselves don’t mean that someone did something wrong. the authorities investigated, people jumped to conclusions and condemned him before they even knew what they were talking about.

She instantly made their divorce incredibly public in an effort to protect the kids? I understand the desire on this site to always side with the woman, but it feels a bit far fetched.

I read a lot of comments on this site just after the divorce suggesting that Pitt was violent and abusive. Since we don’t know what happened, I hope those comments made you just as sad.

you’re a real dumb fuck, you know that?

I saw that, but I’m not exactly sure why you are pointing that passage out. How does any of that make the tweet more acceptable? If I were a white student in one of his classes, I’d be making my concerns known to Drexel’s administrations. Before complaining about crybaby white people, just know that this is the

Yeah. Shit like this gives credence to Trump supporters, the alt-right and racists. The tweet was in bad taste.

What does any of that have to do with his tweet? The two things aren’t mutually exclusive. You can recognize that white people are privileged in American society (and in many societies across the globe), while also believing that what he said was racist and unacceptable. Even if it’s just a joke, it was poorly

Perhaps. But this was an inflammatory tweet that was intended to piss people off. It’s likely a joke, but a joke like this focusing on any other ethnicity would cause pandemonium on this site. He’s a college professor who has tweeted out something advocating (even in jest) for the murder of people of a certain race.
