Sarcasm sir. Thats my dig at Porsche for going to VW for a I4 instead of dropping in the turbo I4 from the Cayman/Boxster. Strange move.

I put this in below, but this thing drives phenomenally. It’s actually got less ground clearance than a Volvo V90 Cross Country, so if you’re worried about “riding high”, don’t worry. It’s actually not that high off the ground, and the way it drives makes it feel EVEN lower.

I continue to be sad that Porsche doesn’t make an ICE sedan smaller than the Panamera. Crossovers, no matter how great they drive, will never be a replacement for something lower to the ground.

back in the 80's my buddy got a 78' with the 400V8 and t-tops. It had sidepipes and huge 50's in the rear. Car was mint but then he had a mild crash and then later blew the motor. He got a worked 400 dropped into it and that thing would smoke the rears in first and second with hard chirps on the subsequent upshifts.…
