Years ago...like say summer of 85, my father let an open end wrench short across the battery terminals of his 1966 Chevy (beater, not classic) truck.

The resulting explosion earned him a pretty nasty plastic shrapnel cut.

Well there’s a surprise. They just busted one outfit here in Portland last year who was <del>illegally towing<del> stealing cars and taking them to a chop shop.

Which is now being run by the son in law, who has absolutely no affiliation with the previous owners.

I was surprised at how intuitive shifting a manual transmission was on a right hand drive car, after having driven in the US for 20 years.

The learning curve was practically non existent. In fact the only real problem I ever had was pulling away from the curb into the oncoming lane, which I did more than once.

I have a 32 inch inseam. With my legs slightly bent as one would expect to find, I should have no problem fitting even in Spirit’s configuration if it’s the latter.
